Agreement on Responsibility for Travel Costs

This Agreement is made between Eclipse Recruitment Driving Solutions Ltd (“the Company”) and the applicant (“the Worker”).

1. Purpose

The Company may arrange and pay for flights, other travel and or accommodation on behalf of the Worker in connection with assignments, events, or tours.

2. Worker Responsibilities

The Worker agrees to:

Attend all flights and travel booked by the Company on time.
Conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner when representing the Company.
Carry out their duties with due care, skill, and diligence.

3. Liability for Costs

The Worker acknowledges and agrees that they will be personally liable to reimburse the Company for the full cost of any flights travel or accommodation booked on their behalf if any of the following occur:

The Worker misses a flight, travel connection or incurs costs to re-accommodate due to their own act, omission, negligence, or failure to arrive on time.
The Worker is removed, dismissed, or required to return home from a job, tour, or event due to misconduct, unacceptable behaviour, or negligence in their duties (including driving responsibilities).

4. Reimbursement Process

The Company will notify the Worker in writing of any costs incurred under this Agreement.
The Worker agrees to reimburse the Company within 7 calendar days of such notice.
The Worker consents to the Company deducting such amounts from wages, fees, or any sums otherwise payable to them, where lawful and permitted under the Employment Rights Act 1996.

5. General

This Agreement does not affect the Worker’s statutory rights.
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts.

Acceptance
By agreeing to the Terms of this Agreement the Worker confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by them.
