Business Development Manager - Nottingham

Position – Business Development Manager

Job Type - Permanent

Salary - £36,000 - £40,000 Basic + uncapped commission + free onsite parking

We want to speak to an Experienced Recruitment Business Development Manager who can work from our Nottingham Office. Ideally, we are looking for a team leader who can build upon our established business and generate new business within a 50-mile radius of Nottingham.

There is an established driving and desk and a small team to build upon.

The Person

  • You must have at least three to five years of experience as a Business Development Manager, ideally from within the Driving Recruitment sector.

  • A proven track record in generating and winning new business leads and hitting revenue targets.

  • A precise understanding of Transport Regulations and Recruitment Legislation.

  • You must love the chase of sales and be driven by overcoming obstacles and closing deals.

  • Have strong prioritisation, planning and organisational skills.

  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • The ambition to grow your desk and team.

The Role

  • Lead the activity to generate new business sales, identify new opportunities and develop the sales pipeline to win new customers.

  • Identifying and developing new openings with existing clients.

  • Business development activities via telephone, email and social media.

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure client expectation is always exceeded.

  • Keeping up to date with Industry trends, competitor activity and best practices.

  • Managing & reporting on a successful sales pipeline. 

  • Frequent and accurate updates of our bespoke CRM system, uploading all sales activity and notes.

  • Planning and leading client meetings and providing outcome reports for the Directors.

  • An Element of “On-Call” (currently 1 in 5)

The Hours

  • Full-Time - Permanent

  • Monday to Friday

  • On-call – Currently one in five

The Package

  • £36,000 - £40,000 Basic

  • Transparent Personal Turnover Commission (Uncapped)

  • Branch Turnover Commission (Uncapped)

  • Free Onsite Parking

  • 28 days holiday (rising by one day per year)

  • Company Contribution Pension Scheme
